Even assuming (erroneously) that homosexuality is a choice, since when do we not allow people equal rights even as regards chosen lifestyles? After all, you choose your religion, and we still guarantee people of all faiths the same rights. We don't decide, "well, we don't have to respect Christians' rights, because they chose to be Christians." No, it's your choice, so long as you don't hurt anyone. People of all faiths have rights as people, not because of their faith. Seriously.

A gay person has rights as a man, or woman. not because they are gay, they don't get extra rights because of this.
