'robot' 'alive' 'life' 'biological' are all just labels we use to differentiate between things. This distinctions will be blurred once we gain mastery over life and death, over bioengineering and artificial intelligence, and semantics will need to develop accordingly.

Remember, language is just a tool we use. There is no need to squabble over how a sufficiently designed robot will meet the 'qualifications' to be semantically classed as 'alive'. How about we develop such a thing first.

I recon it will end up like Terminator, without the backward time travel because that's impossible, but the machines will take over!
